Memory Map

Notes

1. DIMMs are required on both the Riser Board and the System Board.
2. Every populated bank must contain four same-size DIMMs. Four same-size DIMMs are a quad.
3. To activate 2-way interleaving, quads must be installed in banks 0 and 1, which are non-adjacent banks.
   (A third quad may be installed in either remaining bank, but that will disable interleaving.)
4. To activate 4-way interleaving, all four banks must be populated with quads.
5. Each bank addresses 1GB of memory.
6. 64MB DIMM 501-2480 and 128MB DIMM 501-3136 are not supported.
7. 16MB and 32MB DIMMs are not sold for the Ultra 80 System Board.
8. The 501-5936 shipped in the Enterprise 420R. It is not supported in the Ultra 80.
9. The 501-6718 began shipping in the Netra t 1400/1405 in November 2003.
10. The F501-6718 was released for inventory management in February 2004.
11. The F501-6718 (Micron MT36DT16144G-6) is not an orderable FRU.
