Sun Fire V245 server provides high-availability and scalability in a compact, 2 RU
package – making it an ideal fit for the data center. Four auto-negotiating Gigabit Ethernet
ports provide multiple connectivity for high-speed, high-bandwidth networking, while hotplug,
front-accessible disk drives and redundant, hot-swappable power supplies ease servicability
and enhance system performance. With expandability features such as four PCI slots,
up to four disk drives and 16 GB of memory, the rack-optimized Sun Fire V245 server easily
scales to meet the needs of any data center.
