In a slim, 2U rackable or server-top configuration, the Sun StorEdge D240 Media Tray can accommodate a range of storage devices, including removable hard disks, DVD-ROM, and tape backup. The Sun StorEdge D240 Media Tray features a single- or dual-bus configuration, supporting up to two independent server boot domains per system. It is ideal for installing software patches, file updates, and tape backup of the boot disk drive data. As a standard feature, the Sun StorEdge D240 Media Tray is optimized with dual hot-swappable, load-sharing power supplies, contributing to maximum system availability.
